On all of our trips there will be bottled water. You are free to bring any beverages you would like, but please, no glass bottles. Please be prepared with a hat, jacket, sunglasses etc. Life vests will be provided upon demand and for children under the age of 13. Even though our waters are calm most of the time, motion sickness medication like Dramamine or Bonine are recommended (please take the night before, and when you wake up before the trip). There are no guarantees you will catch fish, but our success rate is extremely high. If you are unsure of anything listed, feel free to drop us a line.
Our rates are reasonable and cover expenses like boat payments, fuel, insurance, maintenance, docking fees, rods, reels, tackle, bait, hoop-netting gear, and safety equipment. There is a lot more that goes into these trips than you may think! Please tip accordingly. It is customary to tip 10-20%. Tips are greatly appreciated by our captains.
When you book an “x-hour fishing trip,” you may think you will be hooking fish for x hours. It is important to realize that if you book a four-hour trip, you’ll be away from the dock exactly for four hours. This time includes the time from the dock to the fishing grounds, fish filleting, and getting back. All charter boats operate this way. This might seem like lost time, but you can use these moments to get acquainted with the crew, and to get a rundown of the fishing techniques you will be using.
No shows will not be refunded and are subject to deposit forfeit. Refunds are available 14 days prior to your scheduled charter date. Refunds within 14 days of scheduled trip will result in a forfeit of deposit unless you have purchased trip insurance. Trip insurance will allow a 100% refund up to 24 hours before scheduled charter. Reschedules available 5 days in advance. Only one reschedule allowed per charter booking. There will be a 10% of the total cost of the trip fee to reschedule. Only one discount per charter, per day.

Fishing isn’t just what Captain Woody does—it’s what he’s built his life around.
He started his professional career in Sitka, guiding sportfishing charters for high-end lodges. From there, he’s fished the entire West Coast—chasing massive halibut and salmon in Alaska, and heading south into Mexico targeting hard-fighting species like wahoo and tuna.
Now, he’s back where it all began—sharing that experience with every guest who steps on board.
Whether you're brand new to fishing or a seasoned angler, Captain Woody and his crew know how to make it a great day for first-timers to get hands-on guidance with a stress-free experience, or skilled anglers to get dialed-in on techniques and local knowledge. Every trip is tailored to your group and goals!

Captain Bond is a seasoned captain with over 30 years of fishing, tournament experience, and guiding under his belt. He got his start early—running his first bass boat on Lake Havasu before he even had a driver’s license. That lifelong obsession with fishing has turned into a deep, instinctive understanding of the water that only comes from decades of experience.
These days, you’ll often find him out on the ocean alongside his trusted fishing partner—his dog, Ellie.
